Blitz has to keep his creative juices flowing. It's no surprise that he found time from touring to dash us hungry Hip Hop heads with the "Warm Up". This is truly a dash in the West African sense. One can name their price as to what to pay for these seven tracks via Bandcamp.
True followers of Blitz will surely have three of these tracks already. In addition to "Dikemebe", "Bisa" (Feat. Nneka) and "African in New York"; Blitz brings the heat with "The Warm Up Feat. Fashawn"; "Respect Mine Featuring 20Syl, Emicida and Y'Akoto" + "Internationally Known Featuring Sarkodie" and finally "Royalty".
All the tracks are packed with horns, scratched vocals from famous American Rap records, percussion and spoken word messages. This EP is a good reference point for the young 'Uns trying to understand how rap records were put together in the 90s.
Blitz has succeeded with the International Collective here. Fashawn from California, USA, Nneka from Germany/Nigeria, Emicida from Brazil, Ty from U.K./Nigeria, 20Syl from France, Sarkodie from Ghana and Y'Akoto from Germany/Ghana.
