It is day three in Casablanca.  We spent the morning at the Platinum Optical Disc distribution center where we met with the CMO and graphic designer. Part of what is important about music is not only what styles circulate – but also how they move– especially in the case of hip-hop. Their catalogue includes music across multiple genres that appeal to various audiences in the region and abroad.  Bootlegging is a problem, as companies such as Platinum, distributors of Moroccan music in North Africa and Europe, work to stay ahead of the illicit trade in CDs.
